Adam Durrant is confident Kiss The Breeze can launch her return to racing in top order when she tackles the Tabtouch Plate (1100m) at Ascot on Saturday.
All eyes will focus on the chestnut filly after she underlined her talent to win the opening race of the two-year-old season at Belmont last September.
The daughter of Star Witness, a $72,500 yearling, looks on track for her return after she warmed up with an impressive trial win on January 15.
In a field of 14 starters Kiss The Breeze will jump from barrier one. Leading jockey William Pike retains the mount.
“She has comeback in good order,” Durrant told TABradio.
“She is a class filly with above average ability.
“Barrier one is a little tricky but you have the right man on board to do it.
“Although this is not her grand final she is the one on paper they have to beat.
“But she has to get luck at the right time.
“If she gets a clear run at them I would be pretty disappointed if she didn’t take care of them.”
Kiss The Breeze is the $2.05 TAB favourite.
