Trainer Mark Forder has confirmed his talented filly Bam’s On Fire has been sold to a Melbourne syndicate and will do her future racing in the eastern states.
“The plan is she will go to Ciaron Maher and David Eustace,” Forder said.
“She is still a maiden and it is great news for the owners.
“I think she will be very competitive.”
Bam’s On Fire raced on five occasions for Forder, catching the eye in her juvenile season with three placings.
Her best race came in the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes (1100m) when ran 1 3/4 length third to Agenta Pippa.
In the rich Group 2 Karrakatta Plate (1200m) she flashed home in the fastest final 600m when fourth to Valour Road.
The Universal Ruler filly ended her maiden campaign running sixth to Lordhelpmerun in the Group 3 Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) in April.
Bam’s On Fire appeared on track to make an impact in her three-year-old season and was nominated for Saturday’s Belgravia Stakes after completing two excellent trial wins at Lark Hill.
She leaves Perth having earned $53, 800 in prize money.
