Jordan Tuner’s day out at Geraldton has seen the young rider reclaim second position in the Touchstone Farm Rising Star Series.

Turner had six rides for the meeting for a collective result of one win and four runner up finishes at his first appearance in Geraldton.

Turner ran second in the first three races on the card before striking with the Murray Sharp-trained Big Clint who led from start to finish in race four.

Turner advanced to 56 points and second position in the Touchstone Farm Rising Star after Chenonceau Lady ran a long-neck second to Diamond Town.

Chloe Azzopardi made a strong move to sit in fourth place and just behind brother, Joe, after bookending the programme.

Azzopardi denied Turner in race one when guiding Queen Of Tease before ending the opening meeting of the Geraldton season aboard Celtic Rock
