Zahra pleaded guilty to causing interference on Singleraine in the seventh race, the Fillies and Mares BM64 Handicap over 1200m.

Zahra was charged for allowing Singleraine to shift out near the 200m when not clear of Strangest Dream, resulting in that horse having to be checked.

Stewards deemed the interference in the low range and suspended Zahra for nine meetings, to commence at midnight on August 28 and expire at midnight on September 6.

Also suspended on the day was apprentice Chelsea Hall for causing interference in the second race, the Unox Maiden (1300m), aboard Manor Crew.

Hall pleaded guilty to allowing Manor Carew shift in near the 900m and make heavy contact with Gonstead, causing that horse to become unbalanced and have to be restrained.

Hall was suspended for eight meeting to commence at midnight on August 30 and expire at midnight on September 7.
