Apprentice riders Lucy Warwick and Jordan Turner have fought out an exciting draw in the Touchstone Farm Rising Star Series.
Warwick led for the majority of the series and appeared to have it within her grasp but she couldn’t repel Turner’s surge at Geraldton.
The 16-year-old hauled in Warwick after a career-high treble; guiding Chenonceau Lady, Big Clint and Hey Bro to consecutive victories.
Consolidating third position with 102 points and capping a top day for junior riders at Geraldton was Jake Casey who posted a double.
Jerry Noske climbed into fourth place after a polished riding double on the Dan Morton-trained pair Oradol and Sheza Scandal at Ascot.
