The WARTA wishes jockey Ryan Hill a speedy recovery after a nasty incident at Lark Hill earlier this morning.

Hill suffered a punctured lung and fractures to his ribs; vertebra and scapula after a horse he was working fractured a foreleg and fell on top of him.

Hill has undergone scans at Rockingham Hospital but is expected to be transferred to Royal Perth Hospital later this afternoon.

He is the third jockey in a week to be hospitalised after Steven Parnham and Clint Harvey were involved in a sickening fall at Pinjarra last week.
