Trainer Ricky Moss is confident Secret Pearl can continue her winning spree at Ascot Wednesday.
The So Secret mare has gone from strength to strength this preparation and chases her fourth consecutive win in the Peoplestart Handicap (2200m).
“She is pretty happy this morning and has got her head in the feed bin ready for a big day,” Moss told Tabradio.
“I couldn’t be happier with where she is at the moment.
“I’m confident this horse can win any race I put her in.
“She is just so genuine.”
After two wins at 2200m, Secret Pearl showed her versatility to score a winning hat trick over 1800m last start.
Moss said the step back up in distance will only assist the four-year-old’s winning prospects.
“I think the 2200m is her specialty,” Moss said.
“I know that she is versatile to have covered the 1800m.
“But she is definitely going back to her comfort zone today (Wednesday).”
In work since July, Secret Pearl will have her final run this campaign.
Having her 12th start, Moss is hoping she can go out on a high note.
“I had planned on giving her a Saturday race before she went out, however it didn’t really coincide,” Moss said.
“She will have a short freshen up after today.
“To go out on a good note is definitely what we are after.”
Secret Pearl has drawn barrier 8. Jason Brown continues his association with the mare.
Secret Pearl is the $2.45 Tabtouch favourite.
