Jerry Noske was an easy choice as the Western Australian Racing Trainer’s Association Encouragement Award winner for March.

The quietly spoken apprentice often goes under the radar but she delivered two masterful riding performances in feature races.

In the Gimcrack Stakes Noske guided Chantski to a narrow victory before a daring and bold ride on Ningaloo Blitz in the Albany Cup.

Noske took off and spread the field out at the 1400 metres before staving off Ram Jam to win by a one length margin.

It was Noske’s third major win as an apprentice after she partnered Red Blast in last year’s Boulder Cup.
