Brad Parnham said a stint riding overseas has been the catalyst for his inspired form in the saddle.

Parnham is riding the crest of a wave and at Ascot on Saturday he booted home a treble.

Wins aboard Driftwood Girl, Wrinkly and Eleven Seconds gave Parnham 21 city wins for the season.

Fresh from a double at Ascot on Wednesday Parnham consolidated second position behind William Pike in the jockey’s premiership battle.

“It’s a great feeling when you are riding winners and you never get sick of it that’s for sure,” Parnham said.

“Riding in Singapore against some of the best riders in the world did a lot for my riding.

“It also helped me out mentally and I feel like I am riding better.

“This has been my best season to date and I’m pretty proud of myself.”
