Randy Tan has closed the gap on Clint Johnston-Porter in the Touchstone Farm Rising Stars series after a riding double at Northam on Sunday.
Tan trails Johnston-Porter by 15 points after guiding home the Jarrad Humphries-trained Ruling Force and Scandalous Lady for Stephen Miller.
The battle behind the Johnston-Porter and Tan is hotting up with just four points separating Jake Casey, Jordan Turner and Lucy Warwick.
Mollie Clark continues her consistent form and moves to outright sixth position after her two length win on Luna Express at Collie.
Also grabbing her first points at Collie was Tayla Stone, back in Western Australia after a stint over east, following two second placings.
