Three Group I victories during the season has seen Dissident named Victorian Horse of the Year for the 2014/15 racing year.

The Peter Moody-trained son of Sebring totalled 109 votes, compiled by racing media and administrators, ahead of Brazen Beau (62) Adelaide (35) and Lankan Rupee (33).
Now retired to Newgate Stud in New South Wales, Dissident raced seven times in the state last season for three wins and three seconds, winning the Memsie, Makybe Diva and CF Orr Stakes at the highest level.
Damien Oliver polled 51 votes to takes out a record eighth Scobie Breasley Medal for the jockeys ahead of Dwayne Dunn (44) and Craig Williams (31).
Andreas Wohler is the first international trainer to win the Fred Hoysted medal after polling 30 votes.
