Gun jockey Lucy Warwick has shot to an early lead after the opening round of the 2015 Touchstone Farm Rising Star Series.
Warwick combined with her trainer father’s speedster Hot Goods who stretched her unbeaten sequence to five at Belmont.
Warwick completed a successful weekend at Northam when Saker and Joyful Hope completed contrasting wins.
Saker flooded home from last while Joyful Hope controlled the tempo in the Gannons Ladies Day Cup (1300m).
Jake Casey and Mollie Clark, who share second position, trail Warwick by five points.
Casey booted home Street Bandit at Belmont on Saturday and Western Gunna for his trainer father, Sean, at Leonora a day later.
Leonora also proved a happy hunting ground for fledgling apprentice, Mollie Clark, who commenced riding in June.
Clark celebrated her maiden double after Tumbleweed Tango won by 5 ¼ lengths and Ninu Yarada scored by a neck.
