Apprentice Trainee of the Year, Lucy Warwick, has set up a commanding lead in the Touchstone Farm Rising Star Series.
The 16-year-old jockey boosted her tally to 50 points after riding the first two winners at Belmont on Wednesday.
Warwick rewarded punters when she went forward and led on favourites Strictly Boardroom and Hennessy Raider.
Warwick went close to claiming a winning hat trick on Macrawfy’s Hope but was denied by Aloha Miss and Joe Azzopardi.
Azzopardi had the Adam Durrant-trained mare in the perfect position and wore down Macrawfy’s Hope to score by a short half-head.
Azzopardi moved to 24 points and outright third position. He trails, Jordan Turner, who didn’t add to his tally, by two points.
Andrew Castle retains fourth place after placings on Wanderlust in race one and Steel Almighty in the third event.
