One of Gai Waterhouse’s quartet of fillies entered for the Group I Flight Stakes (1600m) is likely to contest another race at Randwick on Saturday.
Waterhouse nominated Speak Fondly, Sempre Libera, Kimberley Star and Flamboyant Lass for the Flight Stakes on Monday morning but the latter is a chance of taking on the males in the Listed Dulcify Quality (1600m).
“We have four nominated but will most likely run three,” Stable representative Adrian Bott said at the Epsom Handicap barrier draw on Tuesday morning.
“Flamboyant Lass is also entered for the Dulcify so we’ll see what happens.”
Flamboyant Lass was narrowly beaten in last Saturday’s Listed Reginald Allen Quality (1400m) at Rosehill as a $2.35 favourite and is an $8.50 chance in Sportsbet’s Flight Stakes all-in market.
