The 2016 Cox Plate placegetter tested positive to the banned substance, Ketorolac, after finishing runner-up behind Global Glamour at Randwick an October 1.

Stewards held a hearing on Friday at which they disqualified Yankee Rose from the race, owners forfeiting the $99,000 in prizemoney.

Racing NSW-licensed veterinarian David Garth was also fined $15,000.
